|Blaine McBride is entering his 4th year of coaching and his 1st year at Coppell High School. He also currently is an assistant football coach for Coppell, where he coaches the Frreshman and Varsity Offensive line. In addition to coaching, Coach McBride currently teaches partner P.E & is a special education co-teach. Before coming to Coppell, Coach McBride served as a varsity football and baseball coach at Denton High School for two years. Blaine is from Carrollton, Texas where he grew up playing sports in the Carrollton youth sports programs. He played several sports growing up which is where his love for competition was established. He graduated from Hebron High School in 2007 and then graduated from Angelo State University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Blaine has been married to his wife Shaun for 2 years this past July and has one daughter named Camryn Alyssa McBride who just a few months old. Coach McBride’s family currently resides in Lake Dallas, Texas.|
|Caleb Stevens is entering his 5th year of coaching high school varsity basketball. From 2014 to 2017 he was the first assistant at Cypress Creek High School in North Houston, where he helped a struggling program improve to making the playoffs. He moved to the DFW area in 2017 and served as the second assistant coach at Azle High School. This is his first year at Coppell High School where he is the assistant basketball coach, assistant cross country coach and teaches U.S. History.
He served as an assistant to the Honorable Kent Hance in the Office of the Chancellor while earning his B.A. in Mass Communications from Texas Tech University in 2008. After graduation he worked in the oil and gas industry for two years focusing on mergers and acquisitions. He recently made the best decision of his life and was married in April 2018 to his loving wife Jamie Stevens. They currently call Euless, TX their home.
Ryan Murphy is beginning his eleventh season as a coach and his third-year coaching basketball for Coppell High School. Before coming to CHS, Ryan coached basketball, football, and track at Smithfield Middle School in North Richland Hills and La Academia de Estrellas Charter School in Dallas. Prior to becoming a teacher, he served as head basketball coach at The Waldorf School in Chicago, as well as a high school assistant basketball coach at Zion Benton High School in Zion, Illinois.
Coach Murphy grew up in Gurnee, Illinois, a north suburb of Chicago. He completed Bachelor’s in History from the University of Wisconsin Parkside in 2007 and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University in 2012.
He lives in Fort Worth with his wife of seven years, Jordan. She left her teaching career to stay home with their two-year-old daughter, Reagan and as of August, their newest arrival, Jack. They are all excited to see what the Cowboys can do this season!
